Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist from American heritage. The most famously known is that she's the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Her previous roles included cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNN's award winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and 2016. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar and events such as the discussion of raising the limit of federal credit as well as the debates of the super committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was hired by CNN in 2007 as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource. As a correspondent for the national network, she provided breaking news coverage and feature news to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She lives currently in New York City along with her husband, two kids and parents.
