Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne alongside three other siblings. At the age of 17, she was divorced at the time her parents separated. The company they owned failed and caused further financial problems. Bulimia, anorexia as well as other mental health issues contributed to the problems. Gossow has been very honest regarding her decision to quit the band ARCH Enemy, as their lead singer. She stated, "There's a place and the right time for every thing." My professional career started in 1991. My enthusiasm for living in the open road had diminished. In order to avoid pretending I had a break, I decided to quit. The band was originally led by Johan Liiva, who was later succeeded by German vocalist Angela Gossow.
