April Bowlby is an American actress and model from the United States. She has been known for her role as Kandi on the CBS comedy show Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her role as Stacy Barrett, the American TV character in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in Two and a Half Men. The career path she chose began when she was modeling and later she branched out into film and TV series. Her debut appearance on the small screen came as an extra on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation followed by single-episode appearances in various other shows. She soon bagged the breakthrough character of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is gaining worldwide fame for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the hit show Drop Dead Diva. In the American web series Titans, she played the role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr. A spin-off of the series Doom Patrol will see her playing the role. Bowlby is also featured on TV in movies like Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Her debut was on the big screen with All Roads Lead Home, then appeared in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked and as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. Then, more recently, Bowlby was cast in the role of Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who loses her mother to an automobile crash. Bowlby will star as Mia as she appears in The Slammin Salmon (2008). The actress lives in Los Angeles. She has natural red hair and eyes of blue. She's single and no children.
