Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew as a child within Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from the University of California San Diego and made her debut acting. Pernas, who had made tiny appearances in NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part of Marisa on The Young and the Restless, was a familiar character on the soap. After leaving the soap, the actress landed the role of Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model, who can speak four languages has since appeared on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between the years of 2019 and 2020 Pernas was portrayed by Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance came shortly after The This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November of 2019. Then, in May 2021 news broke that Pernas Hartley had recently married in secret. Her voice was much more Joan Jett than Kim McAfee the sprightly character she played in Bye Bye Birdie the movie which simultaneously became an international star and also the most popular pinup of 1963.
