Forbes magazine named Addison Rae as the top TikToker of all time on August 20, 2020. It is also among the most-followed individuals on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become an instant star on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. In 2021, she made her debut on stage singing by releasing the single Obsessed. It peaked at the top of four on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart and was the sixth-most trending video on YouTube that day of its launch. Addison Rae was also nominated for prestigious awards such as The People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids Choice Awards.
